Join our team of experienced cardiac sonographers and enjoy a professional and supportive work environment with a reasonable work-life balance and a positive team-oriented culture. Recent graduates are welcome to bring their enthusiasm for learning and the willingness to be mentored by experienced sonographers. Experienced cardiac sonographers will appreciate the great relationship that we have with our cardiology team and reading physicians, the positive work environment, supportive management, and the ability to continue to grow and develop professionally. If you value the opportunity to be a part of a team committed to technical excellence, where quality is not sacrificed for quantity, and where you are valued and appreciated by a supervisor who is also a cardiac sonographer, then this may be the position for you. Under general supervision the Cardiac Sonographer will perform, analyze, and interpret comprehensive, complex diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures such as Transthoracic Echo, Treadmill and Dobutamine Stress Echo, and assist physicians with Transesophageal Echo (TEE) procedures on patients referred for evaluation of suspected or known heart disease, post-operative evaluation of surgical therapy, or placement of cardiac prosthetic devices. The Cardiac Sonographer will tailor examination as necessary to provide accurate representation of cardiac anatomy and pathology throughout examination; monitor patient’s vital signs and condition during examination; measure cardiac structures and blood flow throughout the heart; and complete preliminary report for the reading cardiologist.
