About The Position
This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiac sonography. The schedule is typically 8 AM to 6:30 PM, with variations. The role involves working holidays, specifically requiring the candidate to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in specialty.
- Required AHA BLS.
- RVT credential.
- An appropriate credential in echocardiography: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), Canadian Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CRCS), Sonography Canada, or Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac ultrasound examinations.
