Cardiac Sonographer (graduating in 2026 or 2027) -- Tuition Reimbursement!
About The Position
Medical Associates Clinic is offering a Commencement (Sign-On/Tuition Stipend) Bonus to Cardiac Sonography students graduating in 2026 or 2027. This program aims to assist talented individuals with tuition expenses while providing an opportunity to join their team of highly skilled sonographers upon program completion. The bonus includes a $10,000 stipend, payable monthly until employment begins, with the remaining balance paid as a sign-on bonus upon hire. Successful candidates will be guaranteed a full-time position (36 hours per week) with competitive pay and benefits upon program completion and obtaining ARDMS certification within 6 months.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in the Cardiac Sonography program at University of Iowa, The School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Allen College, Mercy College, or Eastern Iowa Community College.
- In good standing with attendance, coursework, and overall performance.
- AAS degree or BA.
- Healthcare experience required.
- Significant level of trust and diplomacy required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact.
- Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or is usually of a personal or sensitive nature.
- Work may involve motivating or influencing others.
- Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary.
- Keyboarding skills and use of electronic equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac sonography upon successful completion of the program.
- Obtain American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification within 6 months of program completion.
