About The Position

The Cardiac Sonographer performs a variety of cardiac testing, including treadmill stress testing, holter monitoring, transthoracic echocardiography, transesophageal echo, stress echo and cardiac doppler. This role is for a PRN Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) for the Heart and Vascular Center of Excellence at Memorial Hospital Belleville. New graduates, upcoming graduates, and experienced Sonographers are welcome to apply. The position has a PRN schedule, meaning work as needed, with Day Shift hours from 8am-4:30pm and no call required.

Requirements

• RDCS Registry (required)
• Associate's Degree or Trade School equivalency
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
• High School Diploma or GED
• No Experience
• No Experience (Supervisor Experience)

Nice To Haves

• Associate's Degree - Allied Health/Sonography
• <2 years experience
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

Responsibilities

• Performs tests and procedures at various locations.
• Maintains accurate patient logs.
• Updates daily charges in the computer, utilizes cardiac lab menus in the computer.
• Maintains cardiac lab patient files.
