About The Position

As part of the non-invasive cardiology team, performs high quality echocardiograms, dobutamine stress echo, nuclear perfusion test, TEE's and Holter monitoring. May also be assigned other duties as required.

Requirements

• Completion of a Cardiac Sonography Program
• RDCS or RCS required.
• Current BLS
• Successful completion of a Cardiac Sonography program with externship.
• Experience performing echocardiography, EKG, and stress testing.
• Ability to push and position EKG and Echo equipment as needed.
• Effective written and communication skills in English.
• Ability to work productively in a busy complex environment.
• Be able to use EKG and Echo Management systems, and our electronic medical record System (EPIC).

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality echocardiograms, dobutamine stress echo, nuclear perfusion test, TEE's and Holter monitoring.
• May also be assigned other duties as required.
• Push and position EKG and Echo equipment as needed.
• Provide exceptional patient care by ensuring comfort and effectively communicating procedures to patients and their families.
• Data entry required.
