About The Position
Bitterroot Health is seeking candidates to fill a Cardiac Rehabilitation Assistant position in our Cardiology Department. This role involves assisting with the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program by providing direct patient care and monitoring during exercise sessions under the supervision of the Cardiology Medical Director and Cardiac Rehabilitation Supervisor.
Requirements
- Associates degree or higher preferred
- Must obtain CMA, LPN, or Exercise Physiology certification or equivalent (as determined by Director) within 1 year of hire
- Medical Assistants must be certified through completion of an accredited NCCA (National Commission for Certifying Agencies) exam
- ACLS certification within 6 months
- EKG rhythm recognition preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist with Cardiac Rehabilitation Program
- Provide direct patient care during exercise sessions
- Monitor patients during exercise sessions
