About The Position

The Cardiac Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals participating in cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation programs. The role supports patients recovering from cardiac events, procedures, or diagnoses through monitored exercise therapy, education, risk-factor modification, and ongoing clinical assessment. The RN ensures compliance with clinical standards, safety protocols, and organizational policies while promoting optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Iowa RN license.
• Dependent Adult and Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Clinical experience in cardiac care, telemetry, critical care, or a related specialty.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
• Prior experience in cardiac rehabilitation, outpatient cardiology, or exercise-based clinical programs preferred.
