About The Position

The Cardiac Rehab Coordinator role involves coordinating and overseeing the daily operations of the Cardiac Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in collaboration with the Nurse Supervisor and Medical Directors. This position requires extensive knowledge of ambulatory care clinical, regulatory, and operational practices to ensure compliance while improving access, efficiency, and productivity. The Coordinator implements clinical and operational procedures to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care and compliance with both internal standards and external regulations. Additionally, the role supports Cardiac Rehab staff in program operations and participates in the development of clinic goals, implementing complex changes and new procedures as needed. The Cardiac Rehab Coordinator regularly assesses clinic processes and operational data to identify trends, recommending methods and processes that improve patient access, operational efficiency, and productivity. Overall, this role is critical in supporting patients recovering from cardiovascular events, fostering multidisciplinary collaboration, and driving operational excellence in ambulatory care settings. It combines clinical coordination and operational management to deliver high-quality, efficient care that meets patient needs and organizational goals. This role functions with a high degree of autonomy.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of ambulatory care clinical, regulatory, and operational practices.
  • Technical leader with a high degree of knowledge in the overall field and recognized expertise in specific areas.
  • Ability to analyze unique issues/problems without precedent and/or structure.
  • Ability to manage programs that include formulating strategies and administering policies, processes, and resources.
