About The Position

The Hartford HealthCare Heart & Vascular Institute (HVI) is seeking a fellowship-trained, BC/BE Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join their nationally recognized, growing electrophysiology team. This opportunity is ideal for an early-career physician (approximately 2–3 years from fellowship) who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care while developing an academic and research-focused career. HVI combines advanced technology, collaborative physician leadership, and a strong commitment to innovation, education, and clinical research. The team performs the full spectrum of electrophysiology procedures, including complex ablation, cardiac device implantation and lead management, inpatient and outpatient electrophysiology consultation, and advanced mapping utilizing CARTO, Affera, and EnSite technologies.

Requirements

• Fellowship-trained in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology

• Passion for education, collaboration, and advancing the field of electrophysiology

Responsibilities

• Perform complex ablation (AF, SVT, VT/PVC)
• Perform cardiac device implantation and lead management
• Provide inpatient and outpatient electrophysiology consultation
• Utilize advanced mapping technologies (CARTO, Affera, EnSite)
• Participate in and lead clinical research and investigator-initiated studies
• Teach and mentor cardiology and electrophysiology fellows
