About The Position

HonorHealth is seeking a full-time ECG Technician to perform remote monitoring of Implantable Cardiac Monitors (ICM). This role involves the interpretation of ECGs, recognition of arrhythmias, diagnostics, documentation of patient symptoms, and reporting to an EP Provider. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology related to arrhythmias. Responsibilities include managing patient data on manufacturer remote monitoring websites, analyzing and managing transmissions, entering data into the electronic medical record (EMR), maintaining data integrity, patient teaching, promoting patient compliance, documenting patient symptoms, and utilizing good clinical judgment.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED Required
1 year ECG Monitor Technician Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification Required

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Cardiovascular Implantable Electronic Devices (CIED) Preferred
Certified EKG Technician (CET) - Certification or equivalent Preferred

Responsibilities

Perform remote monitoring of Implantable Cardiac Monitors (ICM).
Interpret ECGs and recognize arrhythmias.
Conduct diagnostics and document patient symptoms.
Report findings to an EP Provider.
Manage patient data in manufacturer remote monitoring websites.
Analyze and manage transmissions.
Enter data into the electronic medical record (EMR).
Maintain data integrity within the system.
Provide patient teaching and promote patient compliance.
Utilize clinical judgment to assess risk and determine proper notification and follow-up based on established criteria.
Enter transmission data in EMR, enter appropriate charges, and create reports for EP provider review.
Other duties as assigned.
