About The Position

The Cardiac Device Technician will manage advanced cardiac device programming, including seamless integration, precise reprogramming, and continuous patient monitoring to ensure optimal device performance and safety. This role involves educating and empowering patients by clearly explaining device procedures, easing anxieties, and fostering confidence in their ongoing care plan. The technician will advocate for patient wellness by proactively addressing and communicating critical device data and patient concerns directly to the physician team for swift clinical action. Additionally, they will maintain meticulous care records and manage clinical documentation to ensure the care team has real-time, high-quality data for informed decision-making, and optimize clinic efficiency by managing supply inventories and supporting daily operations.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
