About The Position
Emplify Health is hiring a Casual Call Cardiac Sonographer to join their La Crosse team. This is a 0 FTE position, casual call, meaning the employee can pick up shifts that work for them. Shifts are Monday-Friday, between 7:30 am and 5:00 pm, with a minimum of 32 hours worked in a 6-week period required. The team of experts works in various settings including Pediatrics, stress, structural heart, critical care, inpatient, and outpatient. Same-day travel opportunities to outreach facilities are available as part of their mobile echo service.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved or accredited school of Echocardiography.
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer - Adult Echocardiography (RDCS-AE) within one year of hire date.
- Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from either the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Responsibilities
- Perform echocardiograms in various settings including Pediatrics, stress, structural heart, critical care, inpatient, and outpatient.
- Participate in same-day travel opportunities to outreach facilities as part of the mobile echo service.
