We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Cardiac Diagnostic Nurse (RN) to join our cardiology team. In this role, the RN will perform and assist with cardiac stress testing, including exercise treadmill tests (ETTs) and pharmacologic stress testing, in support of nuclear cardiology examinations. The ideal candidate will possess strong cardiac assessment skills, advanced ECG interpretation abilities, and the clinical expertise to respond effectively to cardiac emergencies while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate diagnostic outcomes. Our Cardiac Diagnostic RNs play an essential role in delivering high-quality patient care throughout cardiac diagnostic testing and procedures, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and exceptional clinical outcomes.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program required
  • Current RN licensure in MA
  • Will require NH license within 6 months of hire
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required
  • Advanced ECG interpretation skills required
  • Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology
  • Proficiency in ECG rhythm interpretation and recognition of ischemic changes
  • Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in high-acuity or emergency situations
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and quality care

Nice To Haves

  • Cardiac Stress Testing Certification preferred, if applicable
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in cardiac, telemetry, or critical care nursing preferred
  • Prior experience with exercise treadmill testing (ETT), nuclear stress testing, or non-invasive cardiology strongly preferred
