About The Position

GENERAL OVERVIEW: Analyzes and interrogates pacemakers, ICDs and implantable loop recorders across the cardiology practices. Supports the telemonitoring program by reviewing the data and maintaining software application.

Requirements

• Minimum Associates degree and one or more years related experience and training
• BLS certification
• 1 year experience as a Senior Monitor technician

Nice To Haves

• 1 year in electrophysiology field

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates extensive knowledge and understanding of pacer equipment.
• Analyzes and re-programs all pacemakers with various programs.
• Performs independent quarterly transtelephonic pacemaker checks.
• Is responsible for all data through software application.
• Reprograms devices as ordered by the physician.
• Maintains follow up appointments for pacemaker and ICD patients.
• Conducts family and patient education on care of pacemaker/ICDs.
• Performs EKGs as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.
