RN, Cardiac Device Nurse - Cardiology Practice
About The Position
Baystate Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its cardiology practice. The Cardiac Device Nurse manages, monitors, and cares for patients with implanted cardiac electronic devices. The role includes reviewing incoming patient data and triaging alerts; assessing complex patients and developing and implementing plans of care; coordinating and triaging patient care to support access and successful outcomes; providing patient education and promoting health and wellness; taking a proactive approach to acute and chronic disease management; and providing post-procedure follow-up and wound care. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at 3300 Main Street. The position offers a sign-on bonus and does not require weekend or holiday work. The required education is a Diploma in Nursing. Required certifications are Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association and Registered Nurse licensure in Massachusetts.
Requirements
- Massachusetts Registered Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
- At least 2 years of nursing experience.
- Diploma in Nursing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Competency in delivering exceptional nursing care.
- Proven success partnering with physicians and staff.
Nice To Haves
- Cardiology clinical experience is strongly preferred.
