About The Position

The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist assists with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures under the direction of a Cardiologist and/or Radiologist. The role involves scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring patients while documenting physiologic and hemodynamic data. The technologist prepares procedure rooms, operates specialized cardiovascular equipment, and works with a multidisciplinary team to provide safe, high-quality patient care.

This is a full-time day-shift position at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. The schedule is Monday through Friday, four 10-hour shifts, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The role participates in a shared on-call rotation with a 30-minute response time. New graduates are encouraged to apply, and no experience is required. A sign-on bonus of $10,000 is available for qualified candidates; eligibility and payout terms apply and are discussed during the interview process. Pay is estimated at $34.11–$49.41 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Exact starting compensation depends on factors including skills, applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.

Requirements

• ARRT-R certification and state licensure as required.
• BCLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintenance of current certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• VI (Vascular Interventional Technologist) qualification preferred.
• Previous experience in an Interventional Radiology department preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
• Scrub, circulate, and monitor patients while documenting physiologic and hemodynamic data.
• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and sterile instrumentation.
• Operate cardiovascular imaging equipment in accordance with departmental protocols.
• Maintain procedure supplies and equipment readiness.
• Adhere to quality, patient safety, radiation safety, and infection prevention standards.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and continuing education.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the cardiovascular team to deliver patient care.
