About The Position
Somnia Anesthesia, a physician-owned, clinician-led anesthesia group, is seeking full-time Cardiac Anesthesiologists to join their growing team at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Oxnard, CA. This role offers a competitive salary and benefits package, and new graduates are welcome. The practice environment includes St. John's Regional Medical Center with 6 ORs running, IR, ENDO, and Cath Lab/Cardiac, and Dignity St. John Camarillo with 2 ORs running and Cath Lab. Weekend call coverage is required for cardiac cases, staffed by cardiac anesthesia physicians. The role offers a variety of shifts (8s/10s/12s) with flexible scheduling. MDs work their own cases collaboratively with CRNAs, who also do their own cases.
Requirements
- Current CA license
- Cardiac fellowship
- BC required
- BLS/ACLS/PALS
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services for cardiac procedures, including open hearts and structural heart cases.
- Participate in call coverage for cardiac cases.
- Work collaboratively with CRNAs.
- Manage cases in various settings including ORs, IR, ENDO, and Cath Lab.
