About The Position
Jefferson Einstein is seeking a fellowship-trained Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join a well-established, high-performing anesthesia team supporting a busy cardiac and transplant program. This role includes a mix of cardiac, liver transplant, and general cases across two facilities, with advanced procedures such as TAVR, CABG, LVAD, and minimally invasive cardiac interventions. Einstein Physicians Philadelphia, our employed specialty care practice group, is seeking to add a fellowship trained cardiac anesthesiologist to our team of outstanding anesthesiologists. Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an approved Anesthesiology residency
- Fellowship - Cardiac or considerable experience in Cardiac Anesthesiology
- TEE certification
- Physician is expected to obtain and maintain all required licensure and certifications.
- Board eligible/certified Anesthesiologists
Responsibilities
- Provide Anesthesia for Cardiac, Liver Transplant (70+) and General Cases
- Support 500-600 cases at two facilities
- Perform LVAD, TAVR, Aortic, AVR, MIDCAB, CABG, & Minimally invasive mitral clips
- Facilitate appropriate communication with other specialties and departments on clinical issues
- Participate in administrative activities as designated and approved by the Department chair
- Supervise and provide teaching services for medical students, and CRNA trainees, as designated by the Clinical Director and the Department
