About The Position

The Card Services Specialist works within Alpine Bank’s Card Services, working with debit cards, credit cards, Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs), Instant Issue Debit Cards, Digital Wallets, and Merchant Service. This role provides data entry for Card Services and works one on one with customers over the phone to resolve issues, answer questions, and ensures satisfaction with services and products. The specialist issues debit and credit cards based on customer needs and Alpine Bank’s debit and credit card policy parameters, and routinely performs back-office maintenance on both debit and credit cards. They also process payments for both consumer and business credit card customers over the phone and answer questions for locations or other departments regarding card services products and procedures. Regular and reliable on-site attendance is required as an essential function of this job. Employees are held accountable for all duties of this job.

Requirements

Detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
Knowledge of and comfortable using internet browsers and other computer programs.
Is a self-starter, works well under pressure, and meets deadlines.
Ability to write business letters and other information clearly and informatively; edits work for spelling and grammar.
Ability to communicate information in a clear and concise manner both in writing and verbally.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a desire for professional growth.
Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision.
Ability to make customers and their needs a primary focus of one’s actions, developing and sustaining productive customer relationships.
An understanding of the application of banking regulations.
Strong planning, time management and follow up skills, to ensure bank’s needs are met by end of day.
Detail-oriented with the ability to work on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.

Customer service experience is preferred.
