About The Position

The Card Room Attendant will be responsible for keeping the card rooms clean, stocked, and fresh. This role involves providing excellent service to members and guests, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of card rooms, and ensuring beverages and snacks are readily available. The attendant will also handle opening and closing duties, including food and dishware setup and organization.

• Knowledge/Ability to vacuum/mop and clean areas.
• Adhere to RPYCC dress and grooming standards.

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls, talk or hear, taste or smell.
• Occasionally required to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of food service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Graciously tend to the needs of members and guests.
• Maintain and clean all card rooms.
• Service of beverages & snacks to members in all card rooms.
• Address members' needs and requests immediately.
• Communicate with Manager to ensure all guest/member requests are fulfilled.
• Complete opening and closing side work including food items & dishware.
• Organize and display snacks and set up food displays and drinks.
• Greet members who come in for card play with a smile.
• Replenish snacks and food display as needed while members are in the room.
• Retrieve and/or put away dishes and glassware from service area.
• Move tables and chairs as required.
• Perform cleaning duties including tables, chairs, floors, and dusting.
• Perform other functions as assigned by management.
