The Carbon Steel Pipe Fitter is responsible for performing to perform layout, fabrication, installation, testing, and repair of pipe systems.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of pipe fitting techniques and best practices
• Proficiency in using tools and equipment related to pipe fitting
• Knowledge of ASME requirements for pipe fitting
• Minimum of 6 months of carbon pipe fitting experience
• Pass a hands-on pipe fitter test by Applying a bevel using grinder with a sanding disc, Cutting the opposing end of a pipe to saddle a pipe of the same size at a 90-degree angle, Performing silver brazing of a socket joint pipe in the horizontal (flat and horizontal flow) and vertical (vertical up flow) positions by ASME requirements

Responsibilities

• Perform layout, fabrication, installation, testing, and repair of pipe systems
• Apply a bevel using a grinder with a sanding disc
• Cut the opposing end of the pipe to saddle a pipe of the same size at a 90-degree angle
• Perform silver brazing of a socket joint pipe in the horizontal (flat and horizontal flow) and vertical (vertical up flow) positions per ASME requirements
