About The Position

The Carbon Operator is responsible for understanding and following company procedures, operating manuals, work instructions, and standard operating procedures to support goals related to Safety, Quality, and Delivery. This role involves setting up and operating carbon machining equipment, performing quality inspections, and handling materials to ensure product traceability. The operator will monitor equipment, record data, perform preventive maintenance, and adhere to housekeeping requirements in the manufacturing areas. Other related duties as required will also be part of the responsibilities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to take the initiative and to complete assigned tasks on time.
  • Highly flexible, proactive and self-motivated.
  • Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills, ability to work well under pressure.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and the environment.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and follow Company procedures, operating manuals, work instructions and standard operating procedures required to support goals related to Safety, Quality, Delivery
  • Set-up and operate carbon machining equipment, and perform quality inspections
  • Perform material handling to ensure product traceability to meet quality and scheduling demands
  • Monitor equipment and record data to document the manufacturing process
  • Perform preventive maintenance as required to meet production and maintenance schedules
  • Adhere to required housekeeping requirements for the manufacturing areas
  • Perform other related duties as required
