Our client is a family founded and operated tool and die machine shop known for quality, on-time response, and precision machining. Incorporated in 1985, they are located in Waterbury, Connecticut. Their advanced techniques include Wire EDM, Conventional EDM, CNC Machining, and other traditional processes. They convert specifications and designs into superior products. In the manufacturing process they utilize common as well as exotic materials including: Carbide, Aluminum, Delrin, Titanium, Tantalum, Steel, silver, and Inconel, among others. Their work is done onsite, including carbide and heat treatment. They have complete control throughout the production process. In-house operations eliminate the need to ship to outside services, resulting in reduced lead time and cost, speed of delivery, and reduction or elimination of customer down time. They are currently seeking a fully qualified toolmaker knowledgeable in carbide and steel toolmaking who must be proficient running conventional EDM machines. This individual will work in a small carbide department manufacturing custom carbide and steel tooling. Qualified candidates require the ability to produce precision parts to blue print specifications.
