About The Position

The Full Service Car Wash Attendant ensures the efficient and effective operation of the car wash facility, provides exceptional customer service, and maintains a clean and organized work environment. The role involves assisting customers with service selection, safely operating car wash equipment, inspecting vehicles before washing, cleaning and drying vehicles, and performing additional services such as waxing, vacuuming, and interior cleaning when requested. The attendant also maintains facility cleanliness and supplies, handles customer concerns, records transactions, and follows safety protocols.

The position has no supervisory responsibilities. Employees must meet company insurance standards for operating customers’ vehicles at the assigned car wash location. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• A valid driver's license may be required depending on the assigned work location.
• Ability to meet company insurance requirements for operating customers’ vehicles at the car wash location.
• Ability to read and interpret documents in English, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to read and communicate verbally in English; written communication skills in English may also be required.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions and address problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and help them select the appropriate car wash service.
