About The Position
The Car Wash Attendant delivers excellent customer service by engaging with customers, completing assigned operational tasks, and maintaining a clean site. The role includes learning all aspects of car wash operations and following standard procedures. Attendants help customers select car wash options, guide vehicles safely into the wash tunnel, maintain facility cleanliness, perform wash quality checks, and carry out opening and closing procedures. The position involves working outdoors in varied weather and in a fast-paced setting, with availability for early evenings and weekends.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old because of safety regulations involving heavy machinery.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional service and creating memorable customer experiences.
- Able to work collaboratively to achieve results and support team success.
- Enthusiastic about daily challenges and solution-oriented in approach.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and in a fast-paced setting.
- Available to work early evenings and weekends, and adapt to scheduling needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead by example and foster a team-oriented environment that supports leadership development.
- Maintain a positive, hospitable, customer-focused workplace.
- Educate and assist customers in choosing car wash options; sell membership plans and wash packages suited to their needs.
- Safely guide customer vehicles into the wash tunnel while maintaining a friendly and professional approach.
- Keep the facility clean, organized, and ready for guests, including the car wash, tunnel, back room, and vacuum lot.
- Learn and perform opening and closing procedures.
- Perform wash quality checks and basic equipment troubleshooting.
- Notify management of deposit pickups or cash deliveries.
