About The Position

As a Car Wash Associate at Spark Car Wash, you will deliver a safe, fast, and friendly experience and create a welcoming environment for guests. You will greet customers, support membership sales, and maintain a clean, organized, and efficient site. You will rotate among the Pay Station, where you assist with transactions and memberships; the Tunnel, where you help load vehicles and support safe, efficient operations; and the Parking Lot, where you maintain the grounds and assist guests. By upholding site standards, you help ensure smooth operations and a consistently exceptional wash experience. The role involves explaining wash options, membership benefits, promotional offers, and complementary amenities; processing customer payments and sales accurately; responding professionally to customer needs and concerns; guiding vehicles into the tunnel safely; and keeping the site, equipment, and tools clean and ready for use. Repair issues should be promptly reported to the General Manager. The position requires physical activity, the ability to lift up to 40 pounds, close-range vision, English proficiency, and the ability to work in all weather conditions. A flexible schedule that includes some evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. Starting pay is $16.50 per hour, with additional compensation available for each eligible membership sold.

Experience using a pay station and comfort accurately and responsibly processing customer transactions, payments, and related sales activity.
Strong attention to detail and ability to spot issues and help keep operations running smoothly.
Ability to perform physical work involving hands, arms, legs, and full-body movement, including walking, standing, bending, stooping, reaching, and handling tools or materials.
Ability to lift, move, or carry up to 40 pounds as needed.
English proficiency to support customer communication and safe daily operations.
Ability to see details at close range, including transactions, equipment, tools, vehicles, and site conditions.
Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
Availability for a flexible schedule, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and provide friendly, prompt service.
Explain wash options, membership benefits, promotional offers, and complementary amenities to assist guests with purchase decisions.
Receive customer payments, handle cash transactions, and accurately and responsibly record sales activity.
Assist with Pay Station use and ensure payment processing and cash-handling procedures are followed.
Respond to customer needs and concerns courteously and professionally, working to resolve issues in a timely manner.
Safely guide vehicles into the car wash tunnel by communicating clearly, remaining aware of moving vehicles and equipment, and following tunnel loading procedures.
Follow safety procedures when working in or around the tunnel, including remaining aware of vehicles, equipment, chemicals, and team members.
Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the lot by removing debris and checking vacuums for proper operation.
Help maintain clean equipment and tools, and promptly report repair issues to the General Manager.
Support smooth, efficient site operations and maintain a clean, safe, customer-ready environment.
