About The Position

The Car Wash Associate professionally interacts with customers, builds relationships, and performs the daily operational practices required to run the car wash facility. The role aims to provide customers with total satisfaction and support the company’s mission and values by serving the community, contributing to the company’s prosperity, and representing its “Living Brand.” The position has no direct reports and reports to the Field Consultant.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must pass all competency tests.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Situational awareness.

Ability to perform the stated physical demands, including standing for prolonged periods and working shifts of up to 10 hours; reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, mopping, sweeping, changing garbage, kneeling, crouching, talking, hearing, tasting, and smelling; occasional lifting or moving of up to 50 pounds; and the specified vision abilities.

Previous retail experience.

Responsibilities

Meet and exceed expectations of the Family Express culture by building relationships, promoting the Living Brand, and advocating for the product brand.
Greet customers, answer questions, and explain available wash options.
Guide customer vehicles into the wash tunnel.
Maintain the car wash facility by taking out garbage, sweeping the lot, and using company-provided cleaning products.
Visually inspect each vehicle before it enters the wash bay.
Inspect the tunnel and back room to ensure equipment and chemicals are functioning properly.
Understand and carry out policies and procedures as needed each day.
Perform regularly scheduled maintenance on equipment to keep it in proper working order.
Maintain high cleanliness standards throughout the property and keep items organized and in their proper places.
Keep vacuums unclogged, hoses properly hung, and trash cans emptied.
Identify and resolve site issues and problems promptly and positively.
Ensure site security and safety for customers and employees, and promptly report incidents.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
