About The Position

The Car Wash Assistant Manager functions as the manager in charge when the Site Manager is unavailable. This role is responsible for ordering and stocking vending supplies, providing effective training to new hires, and training teammates on opening/closing checklists and proper loading techniques. The Assistant Manager also trains the team on Fast Pass sales techniques, professionally responds to voicemails and emails, and creates effective schedules. A complete understanding of the Car Wash vacuum system operation and cleaning (including pressure washing) is required. This position supports the Site Manager during monthly team meetings, assists with on-site Supervisor Courses, and supervises teammates completing PM tasks, assessing if further training is needed. The role also involves completing the GSR Daily Breakdown.

Requirements

• High school diploma plus 6 months to 1 year retail and management work experience preferred.
• Leadership and communication skills including active listening.
• Experience with team building.
• Excellent sales and customer service skills.
• Ability to anticipate customer needs.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Strong work ethics and professional attitude.
• Three+ years of retail experience, with at least one year in a supervisory/management role.
• Candidates with supervisory experience from a Big Box environment or auto industry, car wash or lube store are encouraged to apply.
