About The Position
Team Honda, part of the Gurley Leep Automotive Family, is seeking a Sales Specialist to join their team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with people, building relationships, and assisting customers in finding the right vehicle. The position operates in a no-haggle sales environment and focuses on creating a positive customer experience from initial contact through to post-purchase follow-up and service department transitions.
Requirements
- At least 1 year Automobile Sales experience
- Excellent interpersonal, consultative, and communication skills
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience
- Valid driver’s license and an acceptable/clean driving record
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and create a positive buying experience
- Build relationships and understand customer needs
- Help customers find the right vehicle for their lifestyle and budget
- Work in a no-haggle sales environment
- Explain payment options and assist with the purchase process
- Follow up with customers to build long-term loyalty
- Help transition customers to our Service Department for their ongoing vehicle needs
