About The Position
EDS Service Solutions is hiring a Car Rental Driver at Bradley International Airport in Hartford, Connecticut. The role involves moving and delivering rental vehicles locally or outside the area as needed. Drivers work with newer vehicles and rental car companies. The position offers full-time and part-time shifts, including morning, afternoon, and weekend schedules. Pay is $16.94 per hour, paid weekly. A $300 sign-on bonus is available subject to completing 60 days of continuous employment, perfect attendance, remaining in good standing without disciplinary actions, and following company policies and safety guidelines. Requirements
- Must have a valid U.S. driver's license.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must have a clean driving record for the past three years.
- Must be able to work in inclement weather.
- Must be able to handle the physical workload, including getting in and out of vehicles safely.
- Must be able to drive shifts of up to eight hours.
- Must be able to walk, stand, and bend for shifts of up to eight hours.
- Must be able to work outdoors for shifts of up to eight hours.
Responsibilities
- Drive and deliver vehicles locally or outside the area as needed, following all rules of the road.
- Deliver vehicles to the appropriate destination safely and courteously.
- Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicles or pick up multiple vehicles.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
