About The Position

Carvana is hiring a full-time Car Detailer, described in the posting as a Lot Attendant, to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of vehicles at Market Hubs. The role involves working with coworkers to support timely deliveries and customer satisfaction, inspecting and preparing inventory, and communicating with team members and management across the business. Candidates should be enthusiastic, energetic, self-motivated team players who can meet regular and predictable attendance expectations. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record for the past three years.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently and carry and transport up to 60 pounds for up to 20 feet.
• Must have excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity.
• Must be able to drive frequently and perform some typing.
• Must adhere to regular and predictable attendance.
• Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.

Nice To Haves

• A high school diploma or equivalent is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect each vehicle for mechanical, drivability, or cosmetic concerns.
• Wash and vacuum inventory regularly.
• Complete a multi-point inspection on arriving inventory, including checking fuel level and safety features, performing a drivability test, and ensuring company and state disclosures are properly displayed.
• Maintain positive relationships with coworkers and external vendors.
• Communicate and interact with team members and management across all lines of the business.
• Adhere to regular and predictable attendance.
