About The Position

Carvana is hiring an entry-level Lot Attendant to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of vehicles at its Market Hubs. The role involves coordinating with coworkers to support timely deliveries and high customer satisfaction. It is a full-time position. The starting rate is $17 per hour, with a stated pay range of $17–$18 per hour. Eligible team members may receive performance-based increases of $0.25 every 90 days, with opportunities to progress to $18 per hour within the first year. The role includes PTO and paid holidays, including the employee’s birthday. Hiring is contingent on passing a background check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be at least 18 and have a valid driver’s license, and must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is desirable.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for the past three years.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently and carry or transport up to 60 pounds for up to 20 feet.
Must have excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity.
Must adhere to regular and predictable attendance.
Must pass a complete background check.

Responsibilities

Inspect each vehicle for mechanical, drivability, and cosmetic concerns.
Wash and vacuum inventory regularly.
Complete a multi-point inspection of arriving inventory, including checking fuel level, safety features, drivability, and the proper display of company and state disclosures.
Maintain positive relationships with coworkers and external vendors.
Communicate and interact with team members and management across the business.
Adhere to regular and predictable attendance.
