About The Position

Insomnia Cookies is hiring a Cookie Crew Delivery Driver to deliver orders safely and provide friendly hospitality. The role combines driving with bakery work, including welcoming guests, preparing and packaging orders, baking treats as needed, processing transactions, and keeping the bakery clean, organized, stocked, and food-safe. Drivers split their time between the bakery and the road, working in a fast-paced bakery environment and driving in varying weather and traffic conditions. Peak business hours include evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays; scheduling needs vary by location.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Access to a reliable, insured vehicle that meets company requirements.
• Current auto insurance meeting state minimum requirements.
• Smartphone capable of running company delivery applications.
• Availability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to drive safely for extended periods, frequently enter and exit a vehicle, and stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, and transport orders weighing up to 30 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to reach, bend, twist, kneel, and carry bakery products.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and around ovens, refrigeration equipment, cleaning chemicals, and moderate bakery noise.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and leadership.
• Successful completion of applicable pre-employment requirements, which may include background checks and employment verification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Insomnia Cookies orders safely, accurately, and with a smile.
• Ensure orders arrive warm and complete.
• Use GPS and delivery technology to navigate efficiently while following safe driving practices.
• Welcome bakery guests and provide friendly service between deliveries.
• Prepare, package, and organize delivery and pickup orders.
• Help bake and package cookies and other treats as needed.
• Operate the register and process guest transactions.
• Keep the bakery clean, organized, stocked, and food-safe.
• Work with the bakery team to move orders quickly and accurately.
• Help create a positive guest experience.
