About The Position

Insomnia Cookies is hiring a Cookie Crew Delivery Driver to deliver orders and help operate the bakery. The role combines driving, guest service, order preparation, and teamwork. Drivers deliver warm, complete orders safely and accurately, and, between deliveries, welcome guests and help keep the bakery running smoothly. The position involves working both inside the bakery and on the road, including in varying weather and traffic conditions. Peak business hours include evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays; scheduling needs vary by location.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Access to a reliable, insured vehicle that meets company requirements.
• Current auto insurance meeting state minimum requirements.
• Smartphone capable of running company delivery applications.
• Availability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to drive safely for extended periods and frequently enter and exit a vehicle.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while working in the bakery.
• Ability to lift, carry, and transport orders weighing up to 30 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to reach, bend, twist, kneel, and carry bakery products.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions while making deliveries.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Insomnia Cookies orders safely, accurately, and with a smile.
• Ensure orders arrive warm and complete.
• Use GPS and delivery technology to navigate efficiently and follow safe driving practices.
• Welcome bakery guests and provide friendly service between deliveries.
• Prepare, package, and organize delivery and pickup orders.
• Help bake and package cookies and other treats as needed.
• Operate the register and process guest transactions.
• Keep the bakery clean, organized, stocked, and food-safe.
• Work with the bakery team to move orders quickly and accurately.
• Help create a positive guest experience.
