About The Position

As a Capture Sr Director, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of key intelligence customers. You will play a crucial role in p roviding an outstanding opportunity to play a leadership role as we work together to apply the breadth of resources available in our organization to critical technology and mission challenges across the Intelligence Community. You will be a key member of the Growth Team, collaborating with operations and engineering personnel. MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT ● Lead/Manage/Support- You will lead pre-proposal shaping activities, orchestrate capture activities during the proposal phase and post-submittal activities, and must show a proven methodology toward increasing win probability. Y ou will be responsible for pursuing and winning new business contracts with a values ranging $100M+ to $1B+. ● Collaborate closely with key stakeholders within the line of business, business development and all functional areas in order to achieve the mission. ● Drive major capture activities will include: Responsible for pursuing opportunities within the Federal IC space. Provide strategic thinking and execution for capture efforts through determining capture team resource requirements and managing costs throughout the Bid Acquisition Process. Engage with customers, partners, and other relevant stakeholders to qualify new business opportunities. Interfaces between Business Development and internal and external stakeholders (Business Units, Operations and Engineering Staff, and Corporate functional organizations) to develop technical, management and pricing strategies. Understand capabilities, strengths, and weaknesses and direct the development of solution development, CONOPS and path to win. Manage multiple capture efforts in conjunction depending upon where the opportunity resides in the acquisition process. Provide customer and business knowledge through business intelligence to ensure the team fully understands the desires and needs of the customers and the capabilities of potential competitors. Develop win themes and strategies including value propositions. Identify and obtain commitment from industry partners to include OEMs to bridge gaps and increase the Pwin. Establish value added teaming strategies and competitive pricing structures to create a profitable return at a winning cost. Co-Lead with cost estimating team the pricing strategy to provide alignment to the solution and the optimal cost advantage for the bid. Co-Lead with Proposal Manager the color team reviews to ensure that reviews are conducted in a repeatable manner adhering to procedures and processes. Supports continual business development process improvement Responsible for capturing, documenting, maintaining and reporting capture and pursuit metrics Meets and/or exceeds performance goals in support of overall corporate growth and success while maintaining and implementing a professional approach to include full awareness and compliance of applicable Federal Procurement and Business Ethics Codes and Regulations. ● Utilize business development and capture tools to include Salesforce, SharePoint and other key applications WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED Bring your initiative and drive for innovation to GDIT. Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required
  • Experience: 15+ years experience with a proven track record of capturing and winning large new business contracts; with 8+ years of relevant capture experience with the Northern VA IC customers
  • Technical skills: Candidates must demonstrate strong quantitative and analysis skills to analyze market and customer trends and be well versed in industry practices/trends/leaders with knowledge of respective acquisition/procurement policies and regulations
  • Candidates must also possess excellent written/verbal communications skills, presentation skills, organizational time management skills; team building skills, and display a strong sales presence
  • Security clearance level: Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain Poly
  • US citizenship required
