This is a full-time, in-person role at our El Segundo pilot facility, with a potential DC area starting option for the first 6-12 months. As you will be working at an early-stage deep tech startup, this role will span many different tasks. You will need to be a self-starter and be adaptable to performing many different jobs. Along with these high expectations comes the opportunity to significantly influence the product development, strategy, and trajectory of a fast-growing startup company. Your work will tangibly impact our company and the composites industry, and you will be able to make rapid professional gains in an environment that encourages growth and innovation. This role involves building the foundation of Hybron’s capture program. This includes turning executive-level priorities into concrete action plans and strategic pathways, identifying and parsing through valuable strategic opportunities, managing business development efforts, owning Hybron’s end-to-end business development funnel structure, shaping requirements, managing DC consultants and contractors, and creating proposals for both business-to-government (B2G) and business-to-business (B2B) contracts. You will be responsible for ensuring that the business development and capture teams are coordinated to finding and winning the best opportunities for Hybron’s technology and strategic goals. Working in a high-growth company, you will be wearing many hats: direct customer communication, requirements shaping, requirements identification, statement of work creation, cost estimation (working with operations and engineering), lobbyist and contractor management, and communication of customer needs to PMs and engineers.
