Summary The Pilot-In Command (PIC) reports to the Director of Aviation. The PIC is directly responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft assigned and the safety of the passengers, crew, and cargo. This responsibility cannot be delegated. The PIC has final authority as to the operation of assigned aircraft. The PIC is a fully competent professional with in-depth knowledge and experience in Aviation, works independently with minimal guidance, and uses judgement in operating company aircraft safely and efficiently.
