About The Position

ONEOK, a Fortune 500 company with over 100 years in business and a leading midstream service provider, is seeking a Captain to join their flight department. This role is crucial for providing safe, efficient, and timely air transportation for company employees, representatives, and their associates. The Captain will collaborate with the Assistant Chief Pilot and Chief Pilot to ensure all flight operations meet the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4,000 flight hours logged.
  • Minimum of 1,500 flight hours in multi-engine aircraft.
  • Minimum of 500 flight hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) in turbine-powered aircraft.
  • Meet all currency requirements for instrument flight time and night landings.
  • Ability to demonstrate effective communication with flight department personnel, company employees, and their associates.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Air Traffic Control (ATC).
  • Hold an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
  • Maintain a First Class FAA medical certificate.
  • Hold a Passport with the ability to travel to Canada.

Nice To Haves

  • CL30 Type Rating preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Pilot in Command (PIC) and Second in Command (SIC) for all flights, demonstrating all related competencies.
  • Verify aircraft compliance with all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform pre-flight inspections before each flight.
  • Ensure aircraft databases are current.
  • Review weight and balance, fuel on board, and aircraft performance.
  • Coordinate aircraft handling and fueling with Fixed Based Operators (FBOs).
  • Prepare flight plans and evaluate weather conditions at destination and en route to ensure optimum safety.
  • Make informed decisions regarding flight plans, including diversion, delay, or cancellation.
  • Ensure the aircraft is always prepared for flight, clean, and supplied with necessary provisions for passenger safety and comfort.
  • Provide exemplary customer service to all passengers.
  • Coordinate travel needs, including catering services and ground transportation.
