About The Position

Act as crew within Gulfstream Flight Operations. This role involves operating Gulfstream aircraft domestically and internationally in support of various functions including Airborne Customer Support (ACS), corporate transportation, customer accommodation, demonstration, Gulfstream maintenance, and production test. The position requires a broad knowledge and understanding of flight operations, effective communication with Gulfstream personnel, and management of assigned ancillary responsibilities. Adherence to Gulfstream corporate policies, department Flight Operations Manual (FOM) policies and procedures is essential. The role also includes coordinating aircraft issue assessment and repair with Corporate Maintenance, Production/Completion, and Technical Operations. Additionally, the Captain will proactively assist Gulfstream Dispatch with flight activity planning and coordination, manage the safe and efficient conduct of all assigned flight activities, and serve as a positive brand ambassador for Gulfstream and General Dynamics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
• 5 years flight experience as a professional pilot in aviation industry required.
• 1500 hours total flight time, or 1000 hours Pilot-in-Command of turbine powered aircraft.
• ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License) Upon Hire required.
• 1st Class FAA Medical Certificate Upon Hire required.
• Must possess a broad knowledge and understanding of flight operations.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Nice To Haves

• Gulfstream type rating preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate Gulfstream aircraft in support of Airborne Customer Support (ACS), corporate transportation, customer accommodation, demonstration, Gulfstream maintenance, production test, and any other functions as assigned, in accordance with Gulfstream Flight Operations FOM/SOP, domestically and internationally (when qualified).
• Manage and execute any assigned ancillary responsibilities.
• Effectively coordinate the assessment and repair of aircraft issues with Corporate Maintenance, Production/Completion, and Technical Operations as needed.
• Proactively assist Gulfstream Dispatch with planning and coordination of flight activity.
• Manage the safe and efficient conduct of all assigned flight activities.
• Strive to be a positive brand ambassador for Gulfstream and General Dynamics.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
