About The Position

RAVN Aerospace is seeking a Flight Operations Technology & AI Intern for the Fall 2026 semester. This internship is designed for a motivated college or university student who enjoys understanding how systems and processes work and identifying better ways to accomplish operational tasks. The intern will support RAVN's Flight Operations team by helping design better processes, develop useful tools, automate repetitive work, and explore practical applications of artificial intelligence within real-world aviation operations. The intern will have opportunities to take ideas from concept through prototype and, where practical, help deploy solutions into day-to-day operations. Projects may include developing tools to improve flight scheduling, resource planning, pilot utilization, and operational reporting; automating manual processes; building dashboards and lightweight applications; organizing operational data; and evaluating practical applications of AI and generative AI. This internship is intended to provide meaningful project experience rather than observation or routine administrative work. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build solutions that may directly influence how RAVN conducts its flight operations.
