About The Position

The CapNOW Coverage Coordinator role is an internal-only position focused on ensuring the coverage of API freight. This role acts as a crucial link between the carrier network and internal teams, managing the full cycle of load coverage from posting to booking, and ensuring compliance with operational standards. The coordinator is responsible for strategic sourcing by managing inbound quote traffic to maximize margin and proactively managing issues such as carrier escalations and low-interest loads. They will also monitor shipment statuses, ensure driver information is assigned, and collect necessary documentation for invoicing. The role involves optimizing processes, utilizing logistics software, and providing real-time market feedback to various teams to improve pricing algorithms, software, and overall strategy.

Requirements

Internal candidates only
Experience with Fleetworks, Parade, Convoy, DAT, and Truckstop
Ability to gather bids and analyze real-time market data
Strong communication skills for providing market feedback and rate suggestions
Understanding of load coverage and compliance with operational standards
Experience in managing carrier escalations
Ability to monitor shipment statuses and collect necessary documentation

All loads have suggested carrier rates 48 hours before ship date, and are updated throughout the load coverage cycle based on market intelligence and live feedback from carriers.
Maximize margin and mitigate losses through proactive communication with customer teams, pricing, and CapNOW developers.

Responsibilities

Post, book, and ensure 100% coverage and compliance to operational standards for all API customer freight.
Manage inbound quote traffic from individual DAT postings and other carrier quote procurement tools to maximize margin.
Handle carrier escalations, surface loads with low interest, and communicate effectively to adjust pricing strategy and offer rates.
Monitor shipment statuses, ensure driver information is assigned prior to appointment times, and collect necessary documentation (POD, BOL) for prompt invoicing.
Follow established booking protocols and continuously seek improvements to streamline account operations and service delivery.
Utilize software including Fleetworks, Parade, Convoy, DAT, and Truckstop to gather bids, analyze real-time market data, and optimize data collection.
Communicate real-time market feedback and rate suggestions to pricing, tech, and customer teams to ensure competitive and efficient coverage.
