About The Position

At PwC, our people in deals focus on providing strategic advice and support to clients in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring. They help clients navigate complex transactions and maximise value in their business deals. Those in capital projects management at PwC will focus on overseeing and managing large-scale construction and infrastructure projects, enabling them to be completed on time and within budget. Your work will demonstrate and build on strong project management skills and the ability to coordinate various stakeholders and resources. As a Capital Projects & Infrastructure Senior Associate (Bilingual FR/ENG), you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Fluency in English, in addition to French as they will be required to support or collaborate with English-speaking clients, colleagues and/or stakeholders
  • An engineering degree (civil, mechanical, electrical, industrial or related discipline)
  • Experience working on major capital projects, ideally in construction, project management, project controls or PMO roles
  • Hands‑on experience on industrial, energy, infrastructure, transportation or rail projects
  • Practical exposure to project controls, including cost management, scheduling, progress measurement, risk management and change control
  • Ability to bridge technical, commercial and financial considerations in complex project environments
  • Strong communication, presentation and writing skills, including the ability to summarize complex technical and commercial issues for senior stakeholders
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret project data, schedules and cost information
  • Flexibility and adaptability to a fast‑paced, delivery‑oriented consulting environment
  • Strong teamwork skills and comfort working on complex projects

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting or working with contracting and commercial structures, including claims, variations, commercial negotiations or contract administration
  • Professional designation such as PMP will be considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Draft reports and information documents of a commercial and financial nature, business cases and analyses related to various procurement methods
  • Take part in the development and review of complex commercial and financial models
  • Develop a holistic understanding of the process of strategic planning, procurement and financial structuring of capital and infrastructure projects
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of various sectors such as mining, transportation, health and energy
  • Support in building and reviewing governance structures and conducting PMO activities
  • Liaise between PwC and client’s teams
  • Understand and assess client needs to provide them with information essential to making informed decisions
  • Advise clients on best practices in the management of capital and infrastructure projects, and support them in the implementation of these recommendations
  • Contribute to the development of the CP&I practice and the PwC brand
