As Project Manager, Capital, you will lead the planning and execution of capital projects across an assigned portfolio in Canada. You will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, including scope definition, budgeting, procurement, scheduling, and quality control. You will coordinate closely with internal operations teams to minimize resident disruption, while managing consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You will also support emergency response situations, including building system failures and insurance-related events. In addition to project execution, you will contribute to capital planning, reporting, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives in partnership with leadership. Your work will directly support the long-term performance, safety, and sustainability of the portfolio.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of project management experience
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in multi-residential or commercial projects
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound judgment under pressure
  • Proven ability to build effective working relationships and maintain credibility
  • Flexible with travel requirements (up to 30–40%)
  • Available for after-hours support during emergencies when required

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in multi-residential or commercial projects
  • Proficiency with project management systems (e.g., SuiteSpot, Yardi) considered an asset
