Syntegon Packaging Technology, LLC, located in New Richmond, Wisconsin, is a part of the Syntegon Group. This location specializes in advanced, high-tech packaging solutions for the food industry, including horizontal flow wrappers, bag closing and sealers, and robotic pick-place-machines. New Richmond is conveniently located for commuters from the Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro area and Eau Claire, WI.

Requirements

  • Experience in delivering capital equipment in a manufacturing environment with integrated mechanical & electrical controls systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other related technology.
  • 3+ years’ experience in project management in manufactured equipment or capital equipment.
  • 3+ years' experience in engineering & manufacturing environments managing multiple projects.
  • 3+ years' experience as liaison with customers and managing expectations to a contract.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with horizontal form, fill and seal (HFFS) automated packaging equipment and processes and/or Engineer-to-Order capital equipment.
  • Proficiency with project management practices using the stage gate approach and knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams composed of shared resources.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the successful execution of sales orders using project management skills in a capital equipment industry.
  • Maintain customer relationships, communication, and satisfaction, in addition to negotiating conflicts with the customer during project execution.
  • Issue change orders, both internal and customer driven, to maintain clarity of customer requirements, scope of work, and schedule milestones.
  • Assess risks and project finances throughout the execution of a project within a stage gate structure.
