Here, you will make an impact by: Managing project timelines and budgets for assigned projects Leading a cross functional team to execute multiple projects simultaneously Interacting with multiple discipline teams including 3M plant personnel, consultants, and suppliers Estimating capital equipment and installation costs Protecting 3M intellectual property

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree/Technical Diploma or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institute and five (5) years of combined experience in engineering, manufacturing, and/or project management in a private, public, government or military environment OR Bachelor’s or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution and three (3) years of combined experience in engineering, manufacturing, and/or project management in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
  • Responsibilities of this position may include direct and/or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, technologies subjected to the regulations/compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws.
  • Failure to provide the necessary information in regard to U.S. person status and citizenship will result in inability to consider you further for this particular position.

Nice To Haves

  • Five (5) year of combined experience in Capital equipment and/or Facilities project management in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Prior experience with webline, extrusion, material handling, or inspection equipment
  • Team player with the ability to contribute in a matrix environment
  • Proficient user of typical business, office, and technical software for tasks such as spreadsheet computation and/or project presentation/scheduling

Responsibilities

  • Managing project timelines and budgets for assigned projects
  • Leading a cross functional team to execute multiple projects simultaneously
  • Interacting with multiple discipline teams including 3M plant personnel, consultants, and suppliers
  • Estimating capital equipment and installation costs
  • Protecting 3M intellectual property
  • Comply with corporate policies, procedures and security standards while performing assigned duties.
  • Contribute to a strong Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) culture by following safety policies, identifying hazards, and engaging in continuous improvement.
