About The Position

Generally responsible for developing bid packages, submitting Request for Quote (RFQ), evaluating commercial proposals, and awarding purchase orders. Responsibilities could also include expediting of vendor data and equipment in support of various projects. This work will be performed under general supervision.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• This requires a minimum 5 years of relevant industrial experience in Supply Chain Management specifically in Project Procurement
• Knowledge and application of company
• Ability to organize effectively and execute
• Complete understanding of contract language and commercial terms and conditions.
• Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in related field from an accredited university is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consults with contracted engineering firm on vendor selection, terms and order of RFQs.
• Facilitates contracts including confidentiality agreements, master service agreements, purchase orders and scope of work.
• Coordinates with legal department for favorable contracts and terms.
• Develops risk management assessments to minimize outages during construction.
• Executes contractor safety evaluations and Avetta vetting to insure safe vendor practices.
• Performs daily tasks including issuing Purchase Order Requisitions, Purchase Orders and Service Entries.
• Works with accounting and engineering to maintain budget parameters.
