About The Position

Oxford Solutions is seeking a Capital Markets Portfolio Trader for a direct-hire, onsite opportunity with our client. This role supports fixed income portfolio activity, market execution, liquidity management, and financial analysis within a banking environment. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of capital markets knowledge, analytical ability, and banking experience. This position is well suited for someone comfortable evaluating market conditions, executing transactions, and supporting portfolio and balance-sheet initiatives.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in banking, financial services, capital markets, treasury, or a related area.
• Working knowledge of fixed income markets.
• Familiarity with Agency debt, Agency MBS, U.S. Treasuries, derivatives, repo, and Fed funds.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg.

Nice To Haves

• MBA or CFA is a plus.
• B.S. in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute and support fixed income and short-term funding transactions.
• Monitor interest rates, spreads, market conditions, and portfolio performance.
• Support liquidity, funding, and balance-sheet management activities.
• Analyze portfolio holdings, exposures, and transaction opportunities.
• Prepare financial reports, market analysis, and management presentations.
• Coordinate with treasury, finance, accounting, and risk teams.
• Maintain accurate transaction and portfolio records.
