About The Position

The Capital Markets Group Intern will work within the Capital Markets team, partnering with portfolio managers to assess, structure, and execute financing opportunities across PIMCO’s investment platform. This role involves providing market intelligence, transaction analysis, and execution support to inform investment decisions and contribute to broader strategic initiatives. The internship is a 10-week program, running from early June to mid-August, and includes PIMCO Fundamentals Training, participation in the Global Month of Volunteering, and various cross-divisional educational, networking, and social events. Interns receive guidance and mentorship from supervisors, peer mentors, senior leaders, and their teams. The program emphasizes hands-on experience with AI-powered tools, with training and resources to build future-ready skills. Formal mid- and end-of-summer reviews provide feedback to help interns meet their goals.

Requirements

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree.
  • Must be able to begin full-time employment at a PIMCO office between January 2028 – August 2028.
  • Must be enrolled at a university during the Fall 2027 semester (August 2027 – December 2027).
  • Have a minimum 3.2 cumulative collegiate grade point average on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent) at an accredited 4-year college or university.
  • Business proficiency in English.
