About The Position

FNB’s Capital Markets Development Program is a 12-month rotational experience designed for ambitious, entry-level professionals eager to gain hands-on exposure across multiple business lines—including interest rate and commodity derivatives, syndications, debt capital markets, and public finance. This program offers a structured curriculum focused on developing a strong foundation in credit analysis, market strategy, and client engagement. Associates will rotate within their assigned business line, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the Capital Markets landscape while building the skills needed for long-term success. You’ll also receive specialized training and mentorship to support your growth and career advancement. FNB’s Development Programs aim to equip Associates with the skills and experience necessary for a successful transition into integral positions within one of our teams.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in Rotational Learning and Gain Business Exposure: Gain hands-on experience across Capital Markets functions such as derivatives, syndications, and public finance. Collaborate across teams and build a strong foundation in financial services.
  • Develop Credit and Analytical Expertise: Participate in formal credit training and apply analytical skills to assess market pricing, credit risk, and borrower creditworthiness. Prepare underwriting documentation and support strategic decision-making.
  • Refine Key Communication and Presentation Skills: Strengthen the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly through presentations, meetings, and written reports. Engage with internal teams and clients effectively.
  • Leverage Teamwork and Collaboration Abilities: Work closely with colleagues to achieve shared goals. Improve the ability to embrace feedback, contribute ideas, and support a culture of continuous improvement.
