Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related discipline) is required.
  • A deep understanding of CMBS structures and bond math is essential.
  • Familiarity with credit rating methodologies, particularly those focused on CRE securitization.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-oriented environment.
  • A self-motivated individual with the capacity to work independently and take initiative.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and concise interaction.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • A meticulous approach to data management and a strong attention to detail.
  • Currently registered (or able to obtain) Series SIE, 7, 79, and 63 licenses.

Nice To Haves

  • A Master's degree is a strong plus.
  • Experience with Bloomberg, Intex, and Trepp is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the initial sizing and pricing of potential CMBS lending opportunities (including both Conduit and SASB transactions).
  • Prepare CMBS loan quote sheets and application requests.
  • Contribute to CMBS and CRE CLO securitization processes by reviewing Asset Summary Reports and underwriting files for posting.
  • Aid in comprehensive database and pipeline management, ensuring data accuracy and efficient updates to support the securitization lifecycle.
  • Help maintain risk exhibits to effectively monitor CMBS pipeline risk exposure.
  • Prepare compelling internal and external presentations and pitchbooks.
  • Assist in the preparation of internal approval memos and return analyses for business and credit committees.
